Resumen
Se evaluó la inducción de cuerpos parecidos a protocormos (PLBs) del híbrido Cymbidium ʻRey Arturoʼ con segmentos de hojas y ápices in vitro. Se estudiaron concentraciones (0, 0.45, 2.27 y 4.54 μM) de Tidiazuron (TDZ) con fotoperiodo (16h luz/8h oscuridad) y oscuridad durante cuatro meses. Se determinó la sobrevivencia (%), total de PLBs formados y la inducción se analizó por histología. Se formaron máximo 30 y 67 PLBs solo de ápices en 4.54 μM de TDZ con fotoperiodo y oscuridad, respectivamente. El análisis histológico confirmó la formación vía organogénesis directa como alternativa potencial para la producción de múltiples de brotes.
