XVI International Congress on Environmental Education

Revista Bio Ciencias invites the academic, scientific, and professional community to participate in the special issue dedicated to the XVI International Congress on Environmental Education.

The main purpose of this special issue is to disseminate, increase the visibility of, and strengthen the academic and scientific production generated at this congress, which brings together experiences, research, methodological proposals, and analyses on environmental education from multiple perspectives and contexts.

Presentation

This special issue seeks to contribute to the dissemination of academic and scientific works related to environmental education, from disciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary approaches. The publication aims to broaden the reach of the research, experiences, and proposals presented within the framework of the XVI International Congress on Environmental Education.

Likewise, it seeks to strengthen collaboration networks among researchers, teachers, students, and professionals, and to expand the reach of the works to broader academic and social audiences.

This initiative also seeks to contribute to positioning environmental education as a strategic field for addressing contemporary socio-environmental challenges.

Objective of the Special Issue

To disseminate, increase the visibility of, and strengthen the academic and scientific production generated at the XVI International Congress on Environmental Education, promoting the communication of experiences, research, methodological proposals, and analyses on environmental education from multiple perspectives and contexts.

• Epistemology of environmental education
• Innovation and environmental curricular reforms
• Climate change, natural disasters, and social consequences
• Sustainable agriculture and food security
• Interculturality, inclusion, and transdisciplinarity
• Environmental sciences, policies, and sustainability
• Social and gender equity
• Sustainable livestock production
• Innovative strategies for sustainable plant health
• Biotechnology applied to the environmental field

Revista Bio Ciencias will receive original and unpublished contributions that comply with the journal’s editorial guidelines and with the criteria of scientific quality, thematic relevance, and academic rigor.

All contributions must comply with the current editorial standards of Revista Bio Ciencias.

Editorial Process

Submitted manuscripts will initially undergo an editorial evaluation to verify their thematic relevance, originality, scientific quality, compliance with the editorial guidelines, and adherence to the ethical principles of Revista Bio Ciencias.

Manuscripts that meet the criteria of this stage will be sent for peer review under the double-blind system. The editorial decision will be communicated to the corresponding author according to the procedures established by the journal.

Submission Language

Manuscripts may be submitted in Spanish or English. Once the manuscript has been accepted for publication, authors must provide the final version in both languages, according to the editorial policies of Revista Bio Ciencias.
