Revista Bio Ciencias announces the opening of the special issue “Science, Innovation and Sustainability: Frontiers of Fruit Production in Mexico”, coordinated by members of the Academic Group in Agricultural Parasitology of the Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit.

This special issue aims to bring together scientific contributions from national and international researchers dedicated to the generation, application, and transfer of knowledge on topics related to fruit production, from scientific, technological, productive, environmental, and innovation-oriented approaches.

Objective of the Special Issue

To publish original contributions that strengthen scientific and technological knowledge on fruit production in Mexico, promoting academic exchange among specialists, institutions, research groups, and sectors related to the production, plant health, innovation, and sustainability of fruit production systems.

Topics of Interest

Manuscripts related to, but not limited to, the following areas will be received:

• Fruit crop production and management.
• Plant health and pest control.
• Agricultural parasitology applied to fruit production.
• Technological innovation in fruit production systems.
• Sustainability in fruit production.
• Knowledge transfer and agricultural development.
• Quality, postharvest management, and safety of fruit products.
• Studies related to fruit crops of economic, social, or environmental importance in Mexico.

Types of Contributions

Contributions may be submitted under the modalities accepted by the journal:

• Original scientific articles

All manuscripts will be subject to the editorial and peer-review process established by Revista Bio Ciencias. Accepted contributions will be published as part of this special issue.

Important Dates

This special issue will be published under a continuous publication model; therefore, accepted contributions will be incorporated into the issue as soon as they successfully complete the editorial and peer-review process.
