Resumen
En los últimos años ha habido un creciente interés en la obtención de nanopartículas metálicas debido a su potencial uso como agentes antimicrobianos, ante los recientes estudios de bacterias que presentan resistencia a antibióticos. Entre estas, las nanopartículas de plata han sido las más empleadas para tal aplicación; sin embargo, se ha puesto interés en otros metales como el zinc. En este sentido, en este artículo se presenta la síntesis de nanopartículas de óxido de zinc (ZnONPs) preparadas a partir de extractos etanólicos de diferentes partes de la planta Annona muricata, como son hoja, semilla, cáscara y pulpa, presentando una nueva serie de nanopartículas funcionalizadas y estabilizadas por fitocompuestos encontrados en dichos tejidos vegetales, contribuyendo a una síntesis más redituable. Además, se realizó un análisis fitoquímico de los componentes principales presentes en los tejidos como son aminoácidos libres, taninos, polifenoles, flavonoides, y azúcares reductores, presentando una comparación del contenido de estos fitocomponentes antes y después de la síntesis de las ZnONPs, observando el consumo de algunos de ellos para la estabilización de las nanopartículas. Finalmente se evaluó la actividad antimicrobiana de las nanopartículas sintetizadas frente a las bacterias E. coli y S. aureus.
